Do you have the choice of which Optician you can use?
The provider of this business optical plan has a network of opticians (over 500 nationwide) and you would be eligible to discounts and enhanced spending power if you choose to use one of their approved providers. The payments can also be made directly if a network provider is used. If you do choose to use your own optician who is not registered in the network you still can claim the same benefit level however you would need to make payment to the provider directly and then claim the money back.
Eligible claims submitted with the correct information are paid to the member within a short turnaround period.
How long does it take to set up a vision plan?
Once you have signed the appropriate application form and provided a full membership list for inception, your vision plan could be set up within 3 – 5 business days.
Are the premiums an annual payment?
The invoices for a vision plan are issued monthly however, you can opt to make payment on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
